Purpose of the Church...

There are many detailed things that we could put here, but the purpose of the church is best presented with the words Jesus used at the start of His ministry. We are called to complete the work that Jesus started!

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me,

because He has anointed me

to preach the good news to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners

and recovery of sight for the blind,

to release the oppressed,

to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour."

Luke 4: 18-19

Our purpose as every believer is to demonstrate the love of God in the local community and the region, as well as overseas.
