From the A483 head into the centre of Chester.  Just after the bridge over the river Dee turn left down Nun's Road to go alongside the race course.  At the traffic lights turn left and go under the city walls onto Lower Crane Street which leads straight into Sealand Road. Keep going past all the shops and car dealers.  Turn right into Blacon on to Western Ave at the welcome to Wales sign.  You will go past the Spar on your left and then the library. Take the next left into Melbourne Road and turn left and left again into our car park.

Directions for Students

Depending on where you live and whether you are walking, cycling or driving there are different routes, so here are the quickest.  Our building is roughly 20 to 25 mins walk from where most students live.

Live near Saughall Road?

Get onto Saughall Road heading towards Blacon (away from the city centre) stay on Saughall Road until you get to the Highfield Pub where you will turn left on to Western Avenue.  If you go over railway bridge you have gone too far.  Once on Western Avenue take the 2nd right onto Melbourne Road and you will see our building clearly marked on the left.

Live near Parkgate Road?

Get on to Parkgate Road, head towards Blacon (away from town centre) once you get to the roundabout take the 2nd exit which is Blacon Avenue, keep going till you get to shops and primary school, take left onto Saughall Road and then first right onto Western Avenue just over bridge ( by  the Highfield Pub), then 2nd right onto Melbourne Road and you will see our building clearly marked on the left.

Live near Liverpool Road? Biking and Walking only

Depending on where you live around here you can get onto the cycle path, this is shorter distance than by road.  Follow cycle path to Blacon, look out for the sign 'Saughall Road and Blacon's Old Train Station' then take the first right onto Western Avenue, and second right onto Melbourne Road and you will see our building clearly marked on the left.
