We know that the pastoral life of the church is vital. We continue to review this area as the congregations grow and develop. In each congregation the practical aspects of pastoral care are set up in a way which is appropriate to the local situation, but on the same principles: we encourage every person to form friendships and support one another in daily life. This might include anything from general support to visiting and providing meals.
In the Chester congregation, relationships are strengthened as we meet together formally and informally during the week. If you would like to become involved with one of our midweek groups in Chester please contact us. We feel it is important to realise that life is about much more than attending meetings and we therefore encourage everyone to take advantage of different way of messaging and texting each other to keep in touch.
In the Wrexham congregation each person has the opportunity to be part of a pastoral group which meets periodically for meals, activities, prayer and teaching. The pastoral leadership of the church are available to help and support people are required. If you would like to know more about this part of the life of the church please contact the office and one of the pastoral leaders will be happy to speak to you.
